This policy explains what information the Indie Hacker Tycoon mobile app ("the app", "we") collects and how it's used. The app is a single-player game. It has no accounts, no login, and no social features.
We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, photos, or any other personal information. We do not require you to create an account. (Payment for the optional in-app purchase is handled directly by Apple/Google — see "In-app purchases" below.)
Your career save is stored locally on your device. It is not uploaded to us or to any server. Deleting the app deletes your save.
Free players see occasional full-screen ads, served by Google AdMob. Ads are configured as non-personalized — we don't use AdMob to build an advertising profile of you or track you across other apps and websites for ad targeting. Google's AdMob SDK still processes some technical data (such as device type and a general, IP-derived region) to serve and measure ads and prevent fraud, under Google's privacy policy. Purchasing Pro Founder removes ads entirely.
The game offers one optional one-time purchase, "Pro Founder." Payment is handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play — we never see or store your card details. We use RevenueCat to verify and keep track of your purchase (so the app knows you've unlocked Pro Founder), under RevenueCat's privacy policy. This is tied to an anonymous purchase identifier, not to your name or email.
To operate, debug, and improve the game (understanding feature usage, difficulty balance, crashes, and retention), to serve and measure non-personalized ads, and to verify in-app purchases. We do not build personalized advertising profiles or track you across other apps and websites for ad targeting.
We do not sell your data. Anonymous analytics data is processed by our analytics provider (Mixpanel), ad serving by our advertising provider (Google AdMob), and purchase verification by our payments provider (RevenueCat), each on our behalf. We may disclose information if required by law.
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your game save lives only on your device and is permanently deleted when you uninstall the app. Because our analytics are anonymous and not tied to your identity, there is no personal profile to delete — but if you have any concern, email us at pokebloopers@gmail.com and we will action any request, including deletion of analytics data associated with your device where technically possible.
The data collected is anonymous and not linked to you. You can stop all collection at any time by uninstalling the app. Future versions may add an in-app analytics opt-out.
We may update this policy as the app evolves (for example, if we add purchases or ads in a future version). Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
